BEYOND® Solo® solution is designed for patients with known tooth sensitivity. Solo® solution consists of a 35% H2O2 gel in a double-boiler syringe, which is then mixed with a sachet of RS Gel containing known desensitizing ingredients such as potassium nitrate and restorative ingredients such as hydroxyapatite. This reduces the hydrogen peroxide concentration to below 6% and helps support desensitization and remineralization of tooth enamel. The result is excellent whitening results with little to no sensitivity for those undergoing treatment. FOR BEST RESULTS USE WITH BEYOND® ACCELERATOR.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Pour the entire W Gel into the bowl. Pour the entire RS Gel into the same bowl.

2. Using the included brush, mix the solution thoroughly for two minutes until a smooth consistency is achieved.

3. The gel is now ready to begin treatment.

4. Apply the gel directly to the enamel using the included brush.

5. Suck up the gel from the enamel surface and reapply. Repeat two more times for a full treatment.

                       

WHITENING CASE PROCEDURE:

Step 1: Conduct a pre-treatment oral examination and consult with the patient about their desired teeth whitening results to determine the best treatment plan for their specific condition.

Step 2: Apply lip balm (vaseline) and attach the BEYOND® FlexiBlue® Cheek Retractor. Determine the current tooth color. (See Figures 1 & 2)

Step 3: Put on protective eyewear for the patient.

Step 4: Place cotton swabs on both sides of the upper and lower lip ligatures. Apply more lip balm if needed. (See Figure 3)

Step 5: Dry the teeth and gums.

Step 6: Apply the gel directly to the enamel using the included brush. (See Figure 4)

Step 7: Position the BEYOND® Accelerator head at a 90° angle to the patient's teeth and press the Start button to begin the first 15-minute cycle. (See Figure 5)
Step 8: At the end of the 15-minute cycle, use the dry suction tip to remove the whitening gel. DO NOT rinse with water. Repeat Steps 5-7 two more times for a total of three 15-minute treatment cycles. Please note that session time may be extended to 20 minutes in certain cases (severe staining or tetracycline).

AFTER TREATMENT

Step 9: At the end of the final cycle, clean off the gel, remove the cheek puller, gauze, and eye protection, and ask the patient to rinse with warm water.

Step 10: Show the patient their new white tooth color. (See Figure 6)
